A Summer Pause

Dear Friends,

First, thank you for reading Faith in Leadership, I am encouraged by the notes I receive from you or the conversations I have with you about my reflections.

I’m stepping away from writing for a few weeks. Not for a conference or a strategic retreat. For a family vacation. My wife, my kids, our dog, and me.

I write often about rest as a discipline of leadership, not a reward for it. This is me trying to practice what I keep telling you. The inbox will wait. The work will still be there. My children will not be these ages again.

Faith in Leadership returns at the end of July. Until then, may you find your own stretch of quiet, and may you have the courage to actually take it.
